Pool Heating
Having installed several different types of pool heating systems over the years, we now recommend and install only one type - Air Source Heat Pumps or Heat Exchangers.
Heat pumps work like an air conditioning unit in reverse, by extracting the heat from the surrounding air and transferring it to your pool water via a heat exchanging coil.
Modern heat pumps are incredibly efficient with some brands producing 6 or 7 kilowatts of heat for every 1kw of electricity used. A good heat pump will have your pool up to a comfortable temperature in a day or two. (depending upon the time of year) and the running costs are not great.
At Vendée Pools we supply a number of different brands from smaller budget pumps to top of the range brands. All our pumps are tested by us and come with the comfort of a full technical back-up.
